Common questions
Do we lose our current web address?
No. When you go live, you point your existing domain to Club Gael and members keep using the same address. We'll tell your domain manager exactly which settings to change.
What happens after the 7 days?
If you want to keep it, you subscribe for £30 a month and we switch your domain over. If not, the preview closes and nothing is charged.
Does it replace Foireann?
No. Membership and registration stay on Foireann, which is where the GAA wants them. Club Gael links to Foireann and handles everything else: website, app, fixtures, news, notifications and payments for fees, camps and events.
We don't have a website. Can we still use it?
Yes. Give us your Facebook or Instagram page if you have one, upload your crest and photos, and we'll build your site from our GAA club templates.
Who designed Club Gael?
Club Gael was designed by GAA club committee members with over 50 years' combined experience running clubs, as officers, coaches and volunteers. It's built around how GAA clubs actually work, from the AGM to underage blitzes.
Is Club Gael only for GAA clubs?
Yes. We only work with Gaelic games clubs, so everything from the scoring format to the officer roles is set up for how GAA clubs run.
Who can update the site?
Any officer or member you give permission to, such as your PRO or team managers. Changes can be made from a phone and show on the website and app at the same time.
